    "An OK Memory Management Tool"

    by Lillianne3106 on Aug 30, 2011 7:25 PM

    Summary:
Rational Purify memory profiler is a handy memory management tool. It can identify memory leaks, memory corruption, uninitialized memory, and free memory which has not been allocated. It works great with small applications, but hangs and uses all the memory when debugging large applications. Rational Purify is a very bulky software tool which can take a long time to execute.

Also, I am not sure anyone has experienced this, but if you are using libraries and IBM's APIs within your application, I find it difficult determining if the memory issue is attributed to the actual application or the underlying library
