  Beyond Compare is an indispensable tool for comparing files and detecting differences. You can compare source code files, web pages, data files or any other plain-text files. You can also compare Excel, PDF and image files. In addition to comparing individual files, you can compare and sync folder structures and zip files. Beyond Compare works fast, allows you to edit files and lets you configure what is a unimportant difference. Unimportant differences can be such as whitespace, upper/lowercase and so on. Absolute must for a developer. Great for home users too.
