"Not as popular but still amazing"
Summary:
It's a really powerful game engine, carrying the title of best graphics. However, it falls below 2 other game engine giants in popularity: Unity and Unreal Engine. The reason for this is because CryEngine is NOT beginner friendly. To take full advantage of it requires many hours of dedication and learning. With it's support to VR, it's got amazing visual effects. Take Far Cry, for example, made by the same company and engine. CryEngine also has an interesting revenue model for its users: get a 5% royalty where the first 5k per year is royalty free. In my opinion, CryEngine isn't the best game engine for 2D, but you should definitely consider it for 3D.

"Most used programming language out there.. we should move on"
Summary:
PHP is one of the most popular programming language out there. It's been around for 20+ years and is still being utilized to this day. Using it was simple, especially as a web developer. I can embed the code along with my HTML code. After using it for many years, I find the language very ugly and unorganized to look at. It's convenient, but you can get a hot pile of mess if it's not managed to the highest of quality, which takes a lot of effort. You can easily fall into the lazy trap with PHP, so most developers will often cut corners. Having to maintain old PHP code with no framework is extremely annoying. It's no surprised that many developers end up giving it so much hate. PHP has become a running joke across all the software developers community. I don't hate it AS much, but I can empathize with them. However, PHP is a good language to learn since many companies still use it.
"So darn pretty"
Summary:
I love using D3! It can be hard to use, but you get so much flexibility to create beautiful data :) I want to get into data visualization BECAUSE of D3.
"Popular and better than the rest"
Summary:
Lots of people use Chrome these days, including me. It's awesome and pretty, and beats out all the other browsers. Because of that, I find myself constantly using the devtool to make code edits without having to go back and forth to my IDE/text editor. It doesn't seem to use too much resource. Compared to Internet Explorer (bleh) and Firefox, I like Chrome the most.
"Used it. Love it."
Summary:
Node.js is one of the most powerful tool because of the growing popularity of JavaScript for web dev. Node.js allows javascript to run server-side instead of client-side, making it fast & efficient. As the internet becomes more and more a platform of services and user interfaces that tie those services together, companies that recognize this early will be uniquely positioned to take advantage of the benefits of platformization. JavaScript and Node.js are key enablers to that advantage. If you are a web developer, lear n node.js. This is a valuable skill to have.

"Needs major improvements"
Summary:
I really wanted to delve into the world of mobile development and with my loyalty to android smartphones, I came across Android Studios. Came up with a fun idea for an app so I got it downloaded and started working on a tutorial I found online. I can't help but feel the visual tool was just straight up.. bad. It really turned me off from the experience. Android Studio isn't intuitive so it was quite difficult for beginners like me. It also felt clunky. My first time experience was a disappointment, considering it was made by Google. I get it's a popular tool, just not for me. Until it improves, I will move on to another IDE.
"Fabulous Utilization Tool!"
Summary:
My goodness, I can't believe my eyes! I had so much trouble before coming across this tool, but now my life is so much easier. I rely heavily on visual representation and this helped.

"Straight Forward"
Summary:
My experience with CMS are limited to Joomla and Wordpress. However, Wordpress is great for beginning and advance users. I think it has a friendly UI/UX that benefits everybody :) It also offers a lot of free resources to use :D If you want to add more personality to your site and put in paid widgets, you can install with one simple click of a button. I would highly recommend trying Wordpress out when setting up your site (blog, personal website, etc.).

"Great for students"
Summary:
I had to use Bitbucket over Github in my web dev class. It offer students a free upgrade that gives a bunch of extra features, something that Github lacks. You can add an unlimited amount of collaborators to your projects, keep your projects private and have unlimited repositories. I really enjoyed keeping my code secure, so keeping it private was a wonderful option. I would highly recommend you start with Bitbucket if you are a student!
